Deep Cleaning

The top-to-bottom reset your home has been asking for

A deep clean covers everything a standard visit does, then keeps going: the grime that builds slowly in grout lines, on baseboards, behind faucets, and inside appliances. It's several hours of detailed work — usually four to eight depending on the home — done by a two-person team with the checklist below.

Most clients book a deep clean in three situations: before hosting, after a renovation or a long stretch without help, or as the required first visit before starting recurring service. That first-visit deep clean is what lets your regular cleans stay quick and consistent afterward.

Beyond the standard clean, we detail

  • Baseboards, door frames, and trim hand-wiped through the whole home
  • Inside the oven and inside the refrigerator (shelves out, not just wiped around)
  • Tile grout in showers and backsplashes scrubbed and brightened
  • Cabinet interiors in kitchens and bathrooms on request
  • Window interiors, tracks, and sills — where dust actually collects
  • Light fixtures, ceiling fan blades, and vent covers de-dusted and washed
  • Descaling of faucets, showerheads, and glass shower doors
  • Furniture moved (where safe) to vacuum and mop beneath

Who this is for

Homes starting recurring service

We require a deep clean as visit one for new recurring clients — not as an upsell, but because maintaining a baseline is a different job than establishing one. It's why our regular visits stay on schedule.

Before or after big moments

Holiday hosting, a new baby, a graduation party, contractors finally out of the house — a deep clean is the fastest way to make a home feel handled again.

Allergy-sensitive households

The dust that standard cleans can't reach — fan blades, vents, under beds, high shelving — is exactly what a deep clean targets. Spring and fall bookings fill up fastest for this reason.

Deep Cleaning questions

How long does a deep clean take?

A typical three-bedroom home takes a two-person team five to six hours. We'll give you a time window with your quote, and we ask that someone can let us in at the start — after that, you're free to leave.

How is this different from a regular clean?

A regular clean maintains surfaces you see and touch weekly. A deep clean addresses buildup: grout, baseboards, appliance interiors, fixtures, and the spots that need a ladder or elbow grease. Different checklist, different time budget, different price.

Do I need to do anything before you arrive?

Clear what you can from counters and floors so our time goes into cleaning rather than tidying. If we're doing inside-fridge or inside-cabinet work, emptying them beforehand keeps things efficient — or we can do it, it just adds time.

How often should I book one?

Homes on recurring service typically want a refresh deep clean once or twice a year. Homes without regular help benefit from one every three to four months.
