Questions, answered straight
The things people actually ask before booking. Anything missing, call us at (973) 555-0114 and a human will pick up during service hours.
Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?
Yes — vacuums, mops, cloths, and professional products all come with the team, at no extra charge. We default to low-odor, pet- and kid-safe products. If you prefer we use something specific of yours (a certain floor cleaner, for example), leave it out and tell us; we're happy to.
Are you comfortable with pets in the home?
Very. Most of our homes have at least one pet. Cleaners are introduced to your pets at the first visit, we note any rules (which doors stay closed, who bolts for the yard), and we never let animals out. If your pet is anxious around vacuums, we can schedule around walk times.
How do you handle keys and home access?
Your choice: be home, leave a lockbox or garage code, or give us a key. Keys are tagged with a code — never your name or address — and logged in and out of a locked cabinet each day. You get a text when the team arrives and when they leave.
What's your cancellation policy?
Life happens. Cancel or reschedule free with at least 24 hours' notice — text or call, whichever is easier. Inside 24 hours we charge a $50 late-cancellation fee, because your team has already been scheduled and paid for the slot.
What does the satisfaction guarantee actually cover?
Anything on your agreed checklist. If something on it wasn't done to standard, tell us within 24 hours and we'll return to re-clean it free — no forms, no debate. What it doesn't cover: things that were never on the checklist, which is exactly why we set one up front.
Will I always get the same cleaner?
For recurring service, yes — that's the core of how we work. When your regular cleaner is sick or on vacation, we offer a substitute from the same team (someone who has cleaned with your regular, using your checklist) or a skip, your choice.
What if something gets broken?
Tell us — or more likely, we'll tell you first; cleaners report anything within the hour. We're fully insured and bonded, and we repair or replace damaged items. In nine years it has happened rarely, but the process is simple when it does.
How do I pay, and when?
Card on file, charged after each visit is completed — never before. Recurring clients get a monthly receipt summary. We don't take cash, which keeps things clean for everyone (tips excepted — see below).
Should I tip my cleaner?
Never expected — we pay well above market precisely so tips aren't part of the wage. That said, tips are always appreciated and 100% go to your cleaner, whether cash on the counter or added to your card payment.
Do I need to clean before you come?
Please don't clean — that's our job. What helps: a quick tidy so surfaces are reachable. Ten minutes of picking up toys and papers means your paid time goes into actual cleaning instead of organizing.
