FreshNest Cleaning Co.

The company your neighbors kept recommending

FreshNest started in 2016 when Marta Alvarez — then cleaning homes solo after a decade managing housekeeping for a Newark hotel — had more referrals on her street than hours in her week. Instead of rushing jobs, she hired two people from the neighborhood, trained them the hotel way, and put every job on a written checklist.

Nine years later we're a team of fourteen full-time cleaners serving six towns, and the model hasn't changed: fair pay so good people stay, the same faces at your door, and a checklist that makes “done” mean done. No franchises, no subcontractors, no strangers.

What we run on

Checklists over promises

Every job runs on a written, agreed checklist. 'Clean' means something specific here, and you signed off on what.

Keep the same faces

We pay above market and cover paid training, so cleaners stay — and you see the same team at every visit. Our average cleaner has been with us over three years.

Say the honest thing

If a cheaper service fits better, we'll tell you. If we missed a spot, we'll come back. If we can't serve your area, we'll recommend someone who can.
